PQCrypto 2023 The 14th International Conference on Post-Quantum Cryptography August 16-18, 2023 College Park, MD, USA |
Hosted by: INDUSTRY SPONSORS: SILVER BRONZE |
IntroductionThe aim of PQCrypto is to serve as a forum for researchers to present results and exchange ideas on the topic of cryptography in an era with large-scale quantum computers. After thirteen successful PQCrypto conferences (2006 in Leuven, 2008 in Cincinnati, 2010 in Darmstadt, 2011 in Taipei, 2013 in Limoges, 2014 in Waterloo, 2016 in Fukuoka, 2017 in Utrecht, 2018 in Fort Lauderdale, 2019 in Chongqing, 2020 in Paris (online), 2021 in Daejeon (hybrid), 2022 (online)), we are looking forward to PQCrypto 2023. The conference will take place at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. The dates are August 16–18, 2023. We are on twitter as @PQCryptoConf for updates. ProceedingsProceedings of PQCrypto 2023 will be published by Springer in the LNCS Series. See https://link.springer.com/conference/pqcrypto for previous editions. RegistrationRegister for the conference here. Registration is required for both in-person and virtual participation. Virtual participation will allow viewing of the talks, but not discussion with the speaker or the audience. Discounted hotel rooms must be reserved by July 14, 2023 (see below for details), early registration ends on July 19, 2023, and regular registration ends on August 9, 2023. Late registration will be available on-site (for in-person attendees) and online (for virtual participants). If you require a letter of invitation from the conference organizers, please register for the conference, pay the registration fee, and then email the registration help desk to request a letter. Students who need financial assistance: We can give a discount off the student registration fee, for a limited number of students. If you are interested in this, please ask a professor who knows you to send an email to Rene Peralta (rene.peralta at nist.gov), with the subject line "PQCrypto 2023 student discount," explaining why you need financial assistance, and why attending the conference in-person would be beneficial for you and/or other attendees at the conference. Invited SpeakersPQCrypto 2023 is happy to welcome the following invited speakers:
LocationThe conference will take place at the Stamp Student Union at the University of Maryland. There will be an option for online participation, which will also require registering for the conference. This will allow viewing of the talks, but not discussion with the speaker or the audience. In addition, QCrypt 2023, the 13th annual conference on Quantum Cryptography, will be held at a separate venue nearby on the UMD campus. People who wish to attend both PQCrypto and QCrypt must register separately for both conferences. Hotel RoomsWe have reserved rooms at two nearby hotels for a discounted rate. In order to receive the discounted rate, these rooms must be booked no later than July 14, 2023, subject to availability. To book a room online, use the following links:
Students who need lower-cost housing may consider sharing a room at one of the above hotels. We have reserved a substantial number of rooms with two queen beds for this purpose. Both room blocks are reserved for guests arriving beginning on Tuesday, August 15 and departing through Friday, August 18. Each hotel will honor the group rate for up to three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the conference room block dates (based on availability). If you wish to extend your stay outside of August 15 - 18, you will be required to contact the hotel by phone to place your reservation, referencing PQCRYPTO. Important Dates
Call for PapersCall for papers in pdf format (with program committee). Original research papers on all technical aspects of cryptographic research related to post-quantum cryptography are solicited. Topics of interest include (but are not restricted to):
Instructions to authorsAccepted papers are planned to be published in Springer's LNCS series. Submissions must not exceed 30 pages, including appendices and excluding references, and must be in a single column format in 10pt fonts using the default llncs class without adjustments. Reviewers are not required to read appendices, and submissions are expected to be intelligible and complete without them. If the submission is accepted, the length of the final version will be at most 35 pages including both references and appendices, in the llncs class format. Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published in a journal or a conference/workshop with proceedings, or has submitted/is planning to submit before the author notification deadline to a journal or other conferences/workshops that have proceedings. The submission should begin with a title, the authors' names and affiliations, a short abstract, and a list of key words, and its introduction should summarize the contributions of the paper at a level appropriate for a non-specialist reader. Submissions ignoring these guidelines may be rejected without further consideration. Submission deadlinesThe initial submission deadline is April 17, 2023. All papers must be submitted by this deadline to be considered for the conference. Papers submitted by this deadline may be in draft form but must include a title and an abstract. The final submission deadline is April 24, 2023. Authors will be permitted to revise their submissions anytime before the final submission deadline. Submission ServerThe submission server is located at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pqcrypto2023. It is now open for submissions. Program Chairs
